Massimo Shidō has published in Zenbow, the journal of the Rochester Zen Center of New York, in Nuido, the magazine of the Japanese Embroidery Center of Atlanta, the Italian Buddhism publication Dharma, and in other journals of Buddhist studies.
He curated and presented the exhibition Un fiore si apre – Le calligrafie di Yamada Mumon Roshi, within the framework of the international conference Arte come espressione della religiosità dell’uomo, held in the Sala Ferri in Palazzo Strozzi in Florence.
He has recently spoken on “Zen and the art of meditation” in the Crypt of the Church of Santa Lucia del Gonfalone in Rome.
